課程簡介
Person-centred therapeutic relationship has been well-practiced in some of major developed economic countries, such as in the United States and United Kingdom, to enhance the outcomes of patients while health professionals are looking for a holistic practice to cure patients and enhance their autonomy in healthcare. This course is to deliver and demonstrate the nature and competence and skills of person-centred therapeutic relationship to nursing students in English. The objectives of this course are threefold: 1. Knowledge establishment: enabling students to understand the premise of developing a nurse-patient relationship (medical setting, patient experience, professional development). 2. Attitude and skill exercises: enabling students to perform in the therapeutic relationship, and learning to modify their behaviours and response towards patients. 3. Practical application: applying the skills of the therapeutic relationship to the "Holistic Interview". Making a final recording video to share in groups.

From the perspectives as a nurse:
1. Personal Report 30%: reflection worksheet
1) The medical profession develops reflection 5Rs-Clinical Observation and Reflection (Mind Mapping to Self).

<Group report 30%>
2. Group Report 30%: a group of five people will be conducted as a unit The group report results show 30%, to produce an 8-minute interview video to present the "interactive self-interaction and group analysis of the treatment relationship interview" during the whole-person journey interview with standard patients.
1) One minute: brief the patient's story 2) Five minutes: post-production of the interview video, and note the self-analysis of the treatment relationship elements and techniques used during the interview. 3) Two minutes: If time and space change, when you are his medical caregiver (such as a physician, nurse, pharmacist, nutritionist, etc.), how would you help and care for him? Please specify.
